Prestige Document

Searchability comes first

One of the stated goals in Prestige Document is that users should never waste time trying to find a document. Almost everything is searchable through the freetext search: Find tags, POs, WOs etc. You can even search for a word inside a Word or PDF document, using the built-in indexed search.

Transmittal, LCI and Workflow support

Prestige Document is continually developed in close cooperation with our customers’ document control expertise, to ensure that neccessary information required in large contracts is provided. Important functionality like LCI milestones, progress monitoring, transmittals and workflow support is built into the system.

Customizable and Dynamic

  • Define your own archives and document types
  • Define properties (text, dates, dropdown lists etc) . Global or archive-specific properties. This means that technical personell and administrative can work with different data.
  • Group custom defined properties, e.g. show all LCI related properties in their own tab.
  • All custom defined properties are searchable and can be included in reports

Windows Integration

  • Drag a file from Windows Explorer and save it to a new or existing document.
  • Export all files in a directory.
  • Import a complete directory structure, or select sub directories to import.
  • Open a file, and it will open in the standard applicaton.
  • Automatic Taskbar notification when user has new workflow tasks.

Microsoft Office Integration

  • Save Word document to Prestige Document with the custom “Save to Prestige” button in Microsoft Word.
  • Automatically create Word documents from metadata with the powerful and flexible templating system.
  • Save Outlook emails to the custom Email document type, automatically transfer email properties (sender, subject etc) and attachments.
